The post-war buffalo hunting adventures of ex-servicemen, Carl Warburton and Lawrence Whittaker, in what later became known as Kakadu National Park in Australia’s Northern Territory. The two had met at Gallipoli and decided to seek adventure and fortune following the war, tossing a coin to decide whether to travel to Brazil or Arnhem Land. Arnhem Land won and Warburton recounts their adventure in this minor classic of Australian big game hunting and exploration.
