This book, nearly three years in the making, has gathered together the finest work of Olegas Truchanas, reproduced as a lasting memorial to his name and as a source of continuing pleasure to others. Olegas Truchanas, a Lithuanian born Tasmanian was a master photographer and a champion of the Tasmanian wilderness. He was also a councillor of the Australian Conservation Foundation. He lost his life in the Gordon River Gorge on January 6, 1972.

Book Condition: Very good hardcover in a very good dust jacket with minor edge wear. Previous owner’s name on picture plate on the front board pastedown. A personal inscription by a friend of Olegas Truchanas on the front endpaper. Some old tape marks on the inside of front and back boards, probably from a previous protective cover. Otherwise, an unmarked copy internally.
