“A World of Its Own”

This book pairs poems about the Tasmanian landscape by the leading Australian poet James McAuley (1917-1976) with paintings by the Tasmanian artist Patricia Giles (1932-2021). McAuley’s verse is reproduced from the had-written fair copies and Giles’s watercolours are reproduced in colour throughout. Number 469 of 1100 copies.
