Douglas Lockwood was the Melbourne Herald correspondent in the tropical Northern Territory of Australia during the 1950s. He travelled around the sparsely populated area of half a million square miles, reporting the weird and wonderful stories to be found there. Inscribed ‘Best wishes’ and signed by the author on the ffep.

Book Condition: Very good hardcover with only minor bumping and edge wear to boards. Foxing to the text throughout the book, otherwise the pages are unmarked and binding is tight. The dustjacket shows spotting, foxing, rubbing and edge wear with chips and tears to corners and edges.
