Songs of the Dreamtime

Colour-illustrated book, third in the series ‘Australia-From the Heart’, presents an Aboriginal creation ‘Song’. This song, ‘The Morning Star Series’ from the Miwirnbi region of Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, is in the form of thirty-one paintings by the late Jack Wunuwun, senior custodian of the Murrungun Tribe. His son, Terry Gandadila, now custodian of this story, recounts the story of these paintings and reveals some of their many levels of meaning.
