Painted Dreams: Western Desert Paintings From The Johnson Collection

Tim and Vivian Johnson collected these works in the early 1980s, before The Galleries understood their significance. The Art Gallery of NSW acquired 10 of them and Johnson donated others to round out this collection of ‘the new horizon’ that the Western Desert and Papunka artists were broaching at that time.
